Small Sided Games

Small Sided Football (SSF), also known as Aldi MiniRoos, is a smaller version of football that provides boys and girls aged 4 - 11 with a fun introduction to football.
SSF/MiniRoos is designed for kids; it is all about having fun, learning new skills and making life-long friends. Delivered by grassroots clubs all across Australia, SSF/MiniRoos provides opportunities for boys and girls of all abilities, shapes and sizes to play football

ALL U6-9 Dragons registrations will receive a free Dragons football kit at the minis gala day.
This includes: Co-op training shirt, Black club shorts, Club Socks, Drink Bottle, Soccer Ball & Drawstring Bag

Co-Op Training
The Macquarie Dragons have introduced Co-operative style training to teach children the art of football at a very young age.
Co-operative or academy training styles teach the children ball skills and technique. It allows teams to train as a unit and also as a squad. The sessions are fun and form an important part of learning for young children.

Facilitated by an experienced head coach, sessions will be held at Waterloo Park on Monday afternoon / evening.
Under 6’s & 7’s will train from 5:00 - 5:50 pm,
Under 8’s & 9's from 6:00 - 6:50 pm and
Under 10's & U11's from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.

Weekly sessions will commence in late March.
